The staff was very nice. The lattes we ordered were very good. The breakfast food was definitely homemade. I ordered the bacon/egg/cheese biscuit with grits. Husband ordered an omelette with hash browns. We were visiting from Pittsburgh and really liked the vibe. Would go again!

The woman at the counter on Friday June 6 at 9am was excellent! She was so calm under pressure. The food was excellent especially my waffle. The cappuccino was OK. The restaurant team culture was excellent! Parking is short. Overall in a place with very few morning places available, we found this place to be a stand out great place. Keep up the good work!
Great lunch spot! I just took my 7 year old and she loved the CBR Wrap and Bubble Tea. I had the Hamlini which reminds me of childhood ham and cheese. So good! Great service as well. We're lucky to have this in Mount Vernon!
North Main Cafe has the best Veggie Wrap! White or Tomatoe Basil wrap with leafy greens, fresh tomatoes, onions, peppers, feta cheese, and dressing! Bubble Tea (Green-Tea base) with Peach flavoring and Mango Bubbles has a burst of sweet fruit refreshment! This Cafe has an amazing staff! No matter how busy, the hard-working staff moves customer orders and service with efficient pace and impeccable accuracy. Whether dining-in to enjoy the clean, French-country atmosphere or taking-out for a bite at home, you will be back for more! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Always so good! The ranch dressing you serve is to die for!! I always get extra....I won't lie, I sometimes just want the ranch lol. Defintely a nice place to visit and eat at.
This was my first time at the cafe, and I can't wait to go back! I had a croissant breakfast sandwich, espresso chocolate scone, and the Main Street Mocha to drink. I love the way the atmosphere is comfortable for everyone. Sometimes coffeeshops cater to just a hipster/young crowd, or are just family friendly, or are diners geared towards older folks. When I was there, there was a nice mix and it was wonderful to see!
The food is good. I loved the soup and salad combo. My husband enjoyed some ice coffee. Honestly, I thought the atmosphere inside would look different. It has curb appeal with the terrace and lively crowd but inside it looks like a hotel breakfast place in the middle of nowhere. Very dated, dark interior, uncomfy chairs. The food is good, though!
Stopped into North Main Cafe today and got an iced mocha latte, it was really good! Service was super fast, and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier. They’ve got a great menu with tons of options for coffee, tea, breakfast, and lunch. The dining room is comfortable and inviting, and when the weather’s nice, their outdoor seating area is perfect. Parking is also a big plus even though they’re downtown Mt. Vernon, they’ve got their own lot which makes it really convenient. Definitely a great local spot worth checking out!
